Understand the problem, then build what solves it.
I’m Cristian Sarov, a full-stack developer in Bucharest. Fourteen years of brand sites, web apps, and the servers and automations under both.
What I do
Three ways to work with me.
Front-end for design studios
Your Figma, built down to the spacing, including the states and screens nobody drew.
Studio buildsFull-stack continuity for enterprise products
A specialist who stays on your product, inside your team’s tools and reviews.
Enterprise productsSelf-hosted automation and AI integration
A small company’s busywork, automated on a server you control.

How I work
What you get when one person owns the whole job.
- 01
Built as designed, to the pixel
I studied architecture before I wrote code. Typography, spacing and motion land exactly the way the designer drew them, down to the pixel.
- 02
Performance is a feature
Server-side rendering, static exports, image pipelines, caching headers and Lighthouse runs are part of every delivery. This page is built that way too.
- 03
I ship it, then I keep it running
Servers, DNS, TLS, deployments, backups and monitoring are mine to own. Sites I launched eight years ago are still online, because I kept looking after them.
Where it started
A student portal the dean would not adopt.
At architecture school I built a portal that connected students and teachers across every channel they were using. It tested well with my colleagues, and the dean still would not adopt a system from “a mere student”.
What stayed with me is the habit, not the refusal: understand the problem, then solve it. A marketing specialist needed a developer soon after, building for the web suited me more than drawing buildings, and I have worked across the whole stack since: front-end, back-end, design, databases, DevOps and UX.
About
Bucharest-based, working remotely across Europe.
I have been building for the web since 2012: brand sites and online stores first, then products and platforms, and more recently leading a small engineering team while still writing most of the code.
Four years of architecture school left me with an eye for proportion and a low tolerance for a layout that is almost right. It shows in the details a designer notices first: rhythm, spacing, the way type sits on a page.
I work independently, on long-running products or single projects, and I am comfortable being the only developer on a job: I scope, build, deploy, and stay reachable after launch. Also on teams at IONOS, Well (UK), Neobility, Swibeco and Softvision. I speak English and Romanian.

Contact
Tell me about the project.
What you are building and when it needs to be live is enough. I reply within a day, usually sooner.
About 20 hours a week, more in a launch week, remote, on European hours. I can start within a few weeks.
